Rosie in the Swim

Rosie is now 9 and has just finished grade 3 at school. That makes primary school over half finished! She has been active learning the flute, tennis, gymnastics, dancing, swimming - and the 3Rs as well. Love's reading and now has her own blog.

Matilda Takes Off

Matilda has had a big year with her first year of school, her first tennis lessons, sixth birthday and lots of other activity.

Dave's Business

David has spent a fair amount of effort in his last pre-40 year getting a bit fitter. A new bike in March led to quite a few miles in the saddle (see below) and Jude's winning of a gym membership kept things going through the winter.

Otherwise, David's business continues to develop. He has worked with businesses in some interesting new industries this year including health care and publishing. He has also been published a couple of times in magazines and continues to enjoy all aspects of working for himself (well - with the possible exception of administration!). Jude's Year

Who said you can't smile after your 40th birthday? After all, they say 50 is the new 40, so I don't need to worry about getting old for another 10 years...
It's been a big year, as per usual.
Work at Quit has been busy, and has taken on a new dimension since the offer of a permanent part-time position..(well, I have been there 10 years!)
With Matilda at school this year, some thought I'd be signing up for ladies tennis and coffee mornings galore. But no, I seemed to fill my days quite well with other things. Had a 6 month stint at Toastmasters, and a 6 month gold gym membership at MSAC got me fitter than I'd ever been. My other 2004 project was serving on the School 75th Anniversary Committee, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
Holidays? Sydney/Canberra in January
Tasmania in May
Moreton Island/Brisbane in September
A short break in Shepparton in November
Not sure where 2005 will take us, at this stage, although I do plan to spend some time with my sister Gwen in Sydney, when her new bub arrives (due April 1).
